This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
You've heard of writer's block, how a writer will suddenly come to a speeding halt while in the middle of his book. Unable to think of how the story should proceed. Sometimes this may last for hours, days or weeks at a time. In order to get over this, he must have "inspiration". Something that pulls him out of his creative slump, so that the story can continue. Artist suffer the same. Artist's block, where an artist has difficulty putting pencil to paper and finishing what he started. Ispiriation must be found in order to continue. But for me at least, finding inspiration can take months, even years. Just recently I finished a picture I had lying around for 3 years, unable to complete it, until I found a girl who's unique hairstyle gave me the finishing touches I was looking for. I hastily snapped a picture from afar and was able to use that as a guideline in which I was able to add the final brick to the house, so to speak. It pains me to leave a picture sit unfinished, that's why once I start a picture, there's no stopping till it's finished. Running into an artist's block is ilke running into a brick wall. It takes a while to get back up.
thanks for the comment. All of my pictures including Adolescence, start with a rough pencil sketch, then the entire image is inked, scanned and colored. Coloring is mostly done by my computer now, but every character starts out drawn by hand.
